BEDA 17: Classical Films, books and procr-ass-tination

So today I saw two extremely popular classical films: Sabrina and The Maltese Falcon. Though both have Humphey Bogart playing a leading role, they're so different, and I truly enjoyed them both.
Also Audrey Hepburn is one of the most beautiful women to have ever existed, even with her slightly bushy eyebrows... =] She's always so charming, and sweet, and every time I see her on a screen I get that ache that comes from seeing greatness and being decently sure that you (me) can never achieve that... So Sabrina was truly hilarious- especially the character of the oldest Larabee, and Sabrina (Hepburn) almost choking to death, and forgetting to turn the oven on for her souffle.
And The Maltese Falcon was completely amazing: "The stuff dreams are made of," just sends tingles down your spine, although it does take a pretty intense level of focus to make yourself understand the plot, as it is fairly difficult to keep track of alliances and Bridgette's lies... and names! But Bogey's driving character really brought it all together. Until today I hadn't seen him in a movie before, but I don't regret it. He truly had confidence, a certain... as we say today... swagger =]
Anyway, on to books, you may know that I'm reading Pride and Prejudice in school... I'm pretty sure m teacher is breaking our summer homework rules, by making us read ~120 pages of it, but since I planned to restart the book, I guess it's my fault to have put it off to the last minute... I actually really like P&P, I truly find Mr. Darcy quite attractive, and Austen completely brilliant, so even though it's a tad slow I don't mind
I'm really sorry to be posting so late, but at least for the second have I've gotten all my BEDAs on time so far! I'm actually using it to distrat me from my book, but back to homework!
