Yesterday, Maureen Johnson had a live chat and I have to say, it was one of the best experiences I've ever had on blogtv. I've only started reading Maureen's work recently, and have only joined her fandom since then. So seeing her being cool and hilarious was completely amazing, AND we got to play the best April Fools Joke on her. In attendance were: Charlie (of coollike fame), Alan (fallofautumndistro), Alex (nerimon), and feat a short stop by of John (Green) before the show in the chat room.
She was reading part of Scarlett Fever, the fresh out the brain sequel to Suite Scarlett (now available for preorder in paperback! go buy it or they kill her 0.0 we don't want to lose her!), and when she'd been reading for about 5 minutes (interrupted only twice by SUPERSCROOLLS) , and returned to ask us what we thought, we all had agreed to tell her that the sound had cut off! XD She was upset/ amused. Threatened to jump out the window, all in good fun! :) ( this was when we learned that she WAS wearing pants, good or bad? you decide.)
In response to spammers in the waiting room, she got gangsta and threatened to cut a bitch... We ended the night with a nerdfighter auction/ love fest/ find a prom date with Maureen's dating service skills, overall a great show!

Also, this morning on the subway, there was a smelly homeless guy, and a kid tried to get him to get out of the subway, and sort of riled him up. It made me feel really sorry for the homeless guy, and I realized, I might be a good person for being on the homeless man's side... even though the angry homeless man scared me and I've been shaken up all day
